| I know Carlos R. just posted about his interior re-work but I was hoping to start a new thread for those (and myself) who may be starting out with theirs as the weather opens up for the season. My 94 is at the point where the interior is more than in need of attention and the problem lies in the suede panels, as I'm sure most do. Also, when vacuuming the carpet Sunday afternoon I made a pass near where the carpet meets the tranny tunnel and I created a "bald spot", so that helped make my decision on whether or not to replace the carpet too. I have researched a little and found a couple vendors (Interior Innovations, Imports Extreme, and a couple others who specialize more in accessories) which seem to have done more than one Z32. I guess the bulk of the question is related to material type, vendor, and installation. If you've done an interior resto recently, who did you use and how were they, what was the material you chose and how is it performing, and was the installation done by a professional or easy enough for someone with some skills to do themselves? I ordered new seat skins last summer but did not feel I had the skills to accomplish this myself and it cost me dearly. I'm not looking to drop the highest dollar at this point, as I have spent some $$$ on brake and suspension upgrades already this season, but I would like to go with a fairly durable material as the suede (original) does not seem to wear well. Also, this car sees the road only five or so months out of the year so it won't see the use as much as those of you who live in warmer climates. As much as this post is personally driven, hopefully others who are in my position will benefit. Thanks for your help. (Seat skins have been replaced)
